The Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) pallet — 48 × 40 inches — accounts for roughly 30% of all new pallets produced in the United States. Its stringer construction, four-way forklift access, and standardized deck boards make it the default choice for grocery, retail, and general freight.
Choosing the Right Pallet
The right pallet depends on load weight, transportation method, storage system, and export requirements (ISPM-15 heat treatment for international shipments).
